Our Philosophy

South River Family physicians are dedicated to treating the whole person; we strive to provide a personal medical relationship founded on each individual patient's continuity of care. Our physicians provide comprehensive health care for people of all ages, from children as young as 6 years old to seniors. We treat men and women, and provide a professional, compassionate medical environment where everyone feels welcome.

Why family medicine?

Each of our physicians trained in six major areas: pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, internal medicine, psychiatry, neurology, surgery, and community medicine. They also received instruction in many other areas including geriatrics, emergency medicine, ophthalmology, radiology, orthopedics, otolaryngology, and urology. In addition to diagnosing and treating illness, we provide preventative care, including routine check-ups, health-risk assessments, immunizations, and personal counseling on maintaining a healthy lifestyle. From heart disease, stroke, and hypertension, to diabetes, cancer, and asthma, family physicans provide primary care for the nation's most serious health problems.
